Pre-orders are now possible at Jingdong, China, for the Moto X30 Pro. This is the first smartphone to feature a 200MP main sensor.
The main camera will have a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 image sensors measuring 1/1.22-inch. The pixels measure 0.64 inches in size. There are two pixel merging modes, namely the binning modes (2 x 2 and 4×4). The first case is a 1.28 mm pixel made from four pixels of 0.64 microns each. In the second, 16 pixels of a “superpixel”, size 2.56, are combined um. Images with large pixels are better in low light.
Chen Jin, the General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Phones China revealed that the Moto X30 Pro now has a self-developed smart mode which can output high-precision images at 50MP in auto mode.
The Moto X30 Pro will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 single-chip system. It also includes a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel auxiliary cam. The 6.67-inch screen will be FullHD+ resolution and can support a refresh rate of 144Hz. It can also be charged at 125W with ultra-fast charging.
It is expected that the device will go on sale in August 2.
