Qualcomm announced yesterday the Snapdragon W5 and W5+ single chip systems for wearable devices. Now we know which smartwatch models will receive these platforms.
Snapdragon W5 is Oppo Watch 3. It will be available in August. Franco Lee, Opp Deputy Vice President, provided the information. Franco Lee calls the Oppo Watch 3 series “the Oppo Watch 3 Series”, so there are at least two models in the line-up. It remains to be determined if the product will be available worldwide.
Oppo Watch
Mobvoi will launch the next-generation TicWatch flagship smartwatch. It is expected to hit the market in the fall. The TicWatch Pro 4 will be the first smartwatch powered by the Snapdragon 5+ SoC. This information is also directly from Mobvoi CEO Zhifei Li.
The watch has not been officially announced.
