Apple will release its AR headset early in 2023. We are referring to the first generation version. The second generation of the AR headset will be available in 2024. However, sources earlier stated that it would only be available in 2025.
According to reports, mass production will begin at the end this year for the first generation AR headset, though initially the number of devices will be limited. It is unknown what the exact number will be.
The headset will get micro-OLED displays from LG and Sony, which are thin and efficient. The headset will also receive multiple cameras, sensors, and other features. Mark Gurman stated that Apple’s AR headset would initially focus on entertainment and games, but will be enhanced with new features over time.
The headset is yet to be confirmed if it will function as a standalone device or in conjunction with iPhone/iPad. The novelty will be a head-mounted display. It is possible to hope it will be an independent device despite the fact that it costs $ 3,000 at this price.
