Although many people may have forgotten about BlackBerry phones, the Chinese car system with the same name is very popular. BlackBerry has announced an official cooperation agreement with Hezhong New Energy Automobile.
The cooperation agreement stipulates that the Nezha S vehicle will be equipped with the BlackBerry QNX Neutrino OS and other modern technologies to create an advanced smart cockpit. The car will also receive the Pilot 3.0 unmanned driving technology.
On July 31, the Nezha S range was revealed in China. It includes eight models and will be available in China for prices ranging from $29,500 up to $50,000. Nezha S is a mid-size coupe measuring almost 5 m in length and almost 3 m in wheelbase.
Zhang Yong, CEO at Hezhong Motors, stated that the Nezha S coupe is the best in its price range. According to the CLTC cycle, the range of the Nezha S’s rear-wheel drive purely electrical version is approximately 715 km. The range of the all-electric version is 650 km (CLTC).
