Fast charging for electric vehicles is currently available on the market and takes between 30 minutes to an hour. Many new owners of electric vehicles have a problem with long charging times. The charging time for an electric vehicle can be reduced to just 15 minutes. This will make it much more convenient than driving to a gas station with a regular car.
The chairman of CATL stated that the new lithium batteries have an energy density of 255Wh/kg. This can cover approximately 1000 km.
China is expected soon to take another step in electric vehicle technology.
