Seeed Studio unveiled the Raspberry Pi Router Board. This allows you to build a fully-fledged router using the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It features HDMI and USB ports as well as a microSD card reader and a 40-pin GPIO kit.
Although sales have not started yet, the system’s price is $ 55. You can use additional Raspberry Pi HAT modules with the docking station, such as Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is a technology that supplies power through one of the network cables.
The Ethernet controller uses the RTL811E chip and the display uses an OLED matrix. Its diagonal measures 0.91 inches. It is compatible with Raspberry Pi OS and Ubuntu Server.
The Raspberry Pis Compute Module 4 uses a Broadcom BCM2711 processor that has four ARM Cortex A72 cores running at 1.5GHz. You can choose from versions with 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB or 8GB RAM as well as 16GB or 32GB flash memory. Prices range from 35 to over 100 dollars.
