The Apple Watch Series 8 smartwatch looks to be an upgrade to the current model. The lineup may include a larger model.
Ross Young, the founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants (and DisplaySearch), revealed that Apple would launch a 1.99 inch watch. Apple Watches, on the other hand, are available in sizes 41mm and 45mm with screens of 1.691 inches and 1.901 inches.
According to the source, the new version is referred to as a third, or an addition to existing versions. The screen area difference between the old and new version is only 5%. It is unclear why a separate model would be necessary.
First, we can still talk about a 5% increase in the larger version. A protected model will be included in the new line. It will also get a slightly larger screen and will continue to be available in two sizes.
