No DxOMark this time. Xiaomi will not send the flagship Xiaomi 12S Ultra to camera tests until the official announcement

Today, Lei Jun (the head of Xiaomi) gave details about the collaboration with Leica. It was previously believed that the German company was searching for a partner among smartphone makers to replace Huawei. However, the head of Xiaomi, Lei Jun (Lei Jun), today revealed that Leica was the one who brought Xiaomi to them and that Xiaomi had turned to Leica to improve its cameras.

Are you looking forward to winning in DxOMark Lei Zun waves his hand?

Lei Jun claims that the company’s smartphones are prevalent in Germany, which is an excellent advertisement for Lecia in the home market. We will not be able to see how the Xiaomi 12S Ultra camera, created in collaboration with Leica, is doing. The company won’t send the smartphone to DxOMark specialists for the results of the camera testing on the day of the announcement (July 4th) or shortly after that.

This is a strange decision considering that Xiaomi has previously collaborated with DxOMark and their smartphones performed very well in tests. The testing included the Mi 11 Ultra (which is still third in the combined rating) and the Mi 10 Ultra (11). The situation with the other flagships is worse. The current Xiaomi 12 Pro is only 20th in the ranking. Xiaomi 12 is 37th, while the Xiaomi 11T, released last year, is 63rd. Experts noted that something has been wrong with Xiaomi’s cameras since the middle of last year. The biggest question is whether the company’s devices (with the assistance of Leica) will be able to return to the top of DxOMark ratings. Perhaps Xiaomi wants to keep the mystery alive. Users mustn’t find this intrigue disappointing.
