iFixit experts were able to access the new MacBook Air based upon SoC M2. There is currently only one video. A more in-depth text review will be available later. There is not yet a rating for maintainability.
We still know something. So, for example, how is it that the SoC M2 inside this laptop gets so hot? Apple decided to make the cooling system as simple as possible, as you can see. It’s almost as if it doesn’t even exist. Is the aluminum plate covering the motherboard? It acts as a radiator but it is not sufficient. This is actually confirmed by tests. The problem can be solved partially for as low as $ 15
The new MacBook Air’s battery capacity has increased from 49.9 Wh to 52.6 Wh. First tests have confirmed that the new MacBook Air has a better battery life than the old model.
