Updated version of the AIDA64 diagnostic software. The program now supports the previously unreleased Nvidia GeForceRTX 4090 graphics card. Other models will likely be supported later, as there are no new GPUs.
Beta update to AIDA64 Extreme version 6.70.6033. Nvidia is expected to release the next generation of GPUs soon, as the RTX 4090 support was a loud hint . According to reports, the RTX 4000 series will feature more CUDA cores and be based on Ada Lovelace’s architecture. However, the VRAM memory should not have been increased and should have been at least 24 GB. Rumours suggest that the RTX 4090 will perform twice as fast than the current RTX 3090.
The RTX 4090 may see the light of the day soon, but other models from the RTX 4000 series will likely be released later. AIDA64 would have also added support for additional graphics cards. Only the GeForce RTX 4090 and the slower GTX 1630 are supported now. The beta adds support for the AMD Radeon Pro W6600 and some MSI chipsets. It also enhances support for some Intel Alder Lake P and Alder Lake M processors.
In the next months, launch possible
The update for AIDA64 does not contain any further information about Nvidia’s new GPU series. The exact date of availability for the RTX 4090 is still unknown. The graphics card is expected to be available for purchase within the next few months. Manufacturer has yet to respond to our inquiries about its new models.
