Redmi K50 Ultra Edition, Xiaomi’s top-selling flagship smartphone, has been officially revealed by the company. There were rumors previously that the Redmi K50 Ultra and Redmi K50S Pro would be the names of the new devices in the series. But now, we know the correct name.
Redmi K50 Gaming Edition
As teased in the teaser, Xiaomi’s new flagship smartphone under Redmi will feature a Snapdragon 8 Pllus Gen 1 SoC. This month is the launch date for Redmi K50 Extreme Edition.
Redmi CEO Lu Weibing stated that the smartphone will be the most powerful in brand history and “a masterpiece that combines all of Redmi’s advanced technologies.”
Digital Chat Station, a well-known insider, published yesterday the results of testing a smartphone which scored 1,120,691 in the popular AnTuTu application. It’s worth noting that Asus ROG Phone 6 scored approximately 1.11 million points, while Xiaomi 12S Ultra scored 1.1million.
The smartphone is expected to have a 2K flat screen that supports 120 Hz, the same as the Redmi K50 gaming edition. Redmi K50 Ultra will be able to charge at 120W. The smartphone will also get a 1080p display to conserve energy.
