The launch of the Galaxy Watch 5 series smart watches is about a month away, so the flow of information is growing. The official Samsung website now has the Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch with model numbers.
Roland Quandt, an insider, has reported that Samsung has listed preliminary listings for three versions of its Galaxy Watch 5 including the Pro model on its international sites in Norway, Denmark, and Belgium. This list includes the 40mm and 44mm versions, as well as the 45mm Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
The watch’s characteristics are not confirmed by the list:
- Galaxy Watch 5 40mm – SM-R905F
- Galaxy Watch 5 44mm – SM-R915F
- Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm – SM-925F
These seem to be LTE variants, as the Bluetooth versions for the Galaxy Watch 4 series had a model format that ended in “0”, such as SM-R880. Samsung has decided to drop the “SM-R8” template, which was in use since the 2018 Galaxy Watch series.
The Galaxy Watch 5 series is due to be released by Samsung in mid-August. According to rumors the prices of smartwatches may be slightly higher than last year’s models.
Last week, Smartwatch renderings were leaked.
