Some users began reporting green lines appearing on their Sony Xperia 5 II smartphones. Sometimes the lines appear pink and sometimes they are striped with both colors.
Users have confirmed that their Sony Xperia 5 II smartphones were not dropped or submerged in water. After updating Xperia 5 II smartphones from Android 5 to Android 12, the problem arose.
Sony has yet to make any announcements. However, many of the Sony Xperia 5 II screens, released in October last year, are now out of warranty. Sony will not replace them.
Remember that the Sony Xperia 5 II smartphone was released with Android 10 in October 2020. In January 2013, it received an Android 11 update and, in March, a stable update.
