Tests have shown: Windows 11 is finally catching up with Windows 10 in performance

Microsoft seems to be close to fulfilling its promise of a better Windows 11 operating system.

Windows 11 was released and tests revealed that Windows 10 performed better on certain tasks, including video editing and rendering. Puget Systems, an American computer manufacturing company, is now updating its Windows 11 study.

Experts hoped that Windows 11 would have a better performance than Windows 10, which was seven years old, with new hardware like the 12th generation Intel processors. The miracle didn’t happen.

Puget Systems ran the test on systems with Intel Core i9-12900K and AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processors. The results showed that Windows 10 continues its lead in Premiere Pro performance.

In other tests, however, the gap was narrowed with Windows 11 leading some tasks such as V-Ray mode for CUDA.

Puget Systems says that both operating systems perform well. Each operating system has its advantages in some tests.

This is a significant improvement on the initial results of Windows 11. Windows 11 is still not able to outperform the older OS in many of its tests.
