Redmi’s new flagship smartphone will be the most affordable on the market, based on the Snapdragon8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip processor.
The basic version will cost 2999 Yuan, or 445 dollars. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB flash memory. Nubia Z40S Pro, which has a starting price at 3399 Yuan (or $505) is currently the best-selling flagship on the market.
Four models based upon Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 will be released next month: the Redmi K50S Series, Moto X30 Pro and Moto razr 2022.
K50S Pro will feature a 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and 8GB or 12GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM. It can also have 512GB UFS3.1 storage. The phone is expected to have a 200MP camera.
Rumours abound that Redmi K50S, Redmi K50S Pro and Redmi K50S Pro may be renamed Xiaomi 12T Pro and Xiaomi 12T Pro for the global market.
