Razer is entering the electric scooter market. Today, Razer unveiled the NIU X Razer SQi Edition. It will be available only in China and in very limited quantities.
Razer did not invent the scooter. This product is an NIU invention. Razer designed it and will promote it.
The NIU X Razer SQi Edition is a unique scooter design that looks more like a small, electric motorcycle. This novelty has a top speed at 25 km/h, and a range of approximately 75 km. The scooter is only 55kg in weight. This was possible by using magnesium alloy. Although the site says that users should not weigh more than 70kg, this is not an issue for China.
You can also note an on-board computer as well as a removable battery. It will take six hours to fully charge. China’s price was approximately $1,500
