Chery Arrizo 5 GT sedan is declassified in China
The Arrizo 5GT no longer looks like a Camry from the rear. However, some Toyota design notes can still been traced. There are four exhaust pipe holes, two per side. It is possible to have only one exhaust pipe. The “additional holes”, however, are just props.
The car was given the “most powerful engine in Chery’s history”, which ensures a good driving experience. The Arrizo5 GT can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds. It is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter internal combustion engine. Maximum power is 197 horsepower, and maximum torque is 295 Nm. According to the source, the parameters are similar to a 2.0-liter Geely turbocharged Ford engine. However, the Ford 1.5 Ecoboost produced around 180 horsepower about ten years back. It all depends on what you are comparing it with. The engine is connected via a 7DCT dual clutch transmission.
Dimensions Chery Arrizo5 GT – 4710 x 1729 x 1490 mm; wheelbase length – 2670 mm. The regular Arrizo has the exact same wheelbase as the GT model, but the GT version has a 14 cm longer wheelbase. This is evidently due to the swollen bumpers. Chery Arrizo 5 GT’s price is unknown, but in China, Arrizo 5 is the equivalent.
